In Monday’s Game 4, which Tampa Bay lost 5-4 in overtime to Toronto, Kucherov was involved in two assists for the Lightning.
This year, Kucherov has played in four postseason games and has recorded one goal and six points. The 29-year-old forward has had an outstanding month overall, contributing three goals and 15 points in a total of ten games played. Kucherov skates with the Lightning’s top line and is a member of the team’s first power-play unit.
On Thursday, the Lightning will most likely rely heavily on him once again, especially considering that Tampa Bay is currently behind the series 3-1 and is therefore attempting to avoid elimination.
