According to reports, Barcelona is concerned about the fact that Sergino Dest has been given permission by AC Milan to leave the club in order to participate in a friendly match between the United States and Mexico. Concerned about Dest’s future at AC Milan, Barcelona expressed concern
It would appear that Dest’s standing in Milan is deteriorating even further as a result of the fact that he was granted permission to return to the United States. The fullback appears to no longer be a part of Milan’s plans, and as a result, Barcelona is in a tough situation with regard to the fullback’s potential future.
Dest, who is only 22 years old, has managed to fall out of favor with the squads of both Barcelona and, most recently, Milan. At best, it is unclear how Barcelona will handle the long-term implications of his contract. They had hoped that Milan would sign him on a permanent basis, but the Rossoneri do not appear interested in a long-term agreement, and as a result, it is probable that he will be returning to Barcelona this summer.
