Anrich Nortje, a speed bowler for the Delhi Capitals, is pleased with his performance so far in the Indian Premier League 2023, but he would like to take more wickets. The South African fast bowler, who is currently regarded as one of the quickest bowlers in the world, has taken six wickets through his first seven matches of the competition.
Nortje stated that he has been in good rhythm and has been attempting to execute the strategies that the DC management has given to him prior to their encounter against Gujarat Titans. This match was scheduled to take place earlier today.
If we implement our plans, we will win – Nortje
“At the moment, I am experiencing positive feelings. Even though I haven’t gotten as many wickets as I had hoped, I’m still feeling quite pleased. The rhythm has been going well, and at this point in the game, it all comes down to carrying out the strategies you’ve devised.
In my opinion, there have been a number of performances that particularly stand out. Ahead of the game, Nortje told the broadcaster that the team would like to add a few more contributors to the roster.
The poor batting performance of Delhi’s team has contributed to the team’s continued struggle at the bottom of the league. The standout bowler on the team, Nortje, mentioned that he has been putting in a lot of effort to learn how to bowl in Indian conditions and to acquire as much information as he can.
“In India, I haven’t participated in as many games as I have elsewhere. Therefore, I am continuously expanding my knowledge of the various conditions. How to bowl and how to take wickets during the powerplay as well as in the later stages of the game. “I am attempting to absorb as many lessons as I can,” Nortje stated.
