When and where is the dinner for the GPSHOF?
WHEN: The reception begins at 5 p.m., followed by supper at 6 p.m., and then the induction ceremony.
The event takes place in the ballroom of the Peoria Civic Center. Attendees should enter the Civic Center close to the Toyota Box Office, which is situated off the Marquee Lot at 201 SW Jefferson Avenue, immediately off Klumpf Boulevard.
How can you obtain banquet tickets for the GPSHOF?
COST: $65. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

Who will be admitted to the GPSHOF?
Former MLB player Ben Zobrist of Eureka, coach Pat Ryan of Metamora, cross country coaches Gene Jones of Metamora and Ed McGraw of East Peoria, and Pekin multi-sport standout Priscilla Welch DeLaert. Chuck Leonard, a longstanding volunteer from Metamora, was awarded the Neve Harms Award for their exceptional contribution to sports. After the banquet, Zobrist will be available to sign autographs, one per guest.

THREE-COUNTY PRIZES: The Male Coach of the Year is Jean-Guy Trudel of the Peoria Rivermen, while the Female Coach of the Year is the former Brimfield girl’s basketball coach. Male Athlete of the Year is football player Malachi Washington from Peoria High, while Female Athlete of the Year is volleyball player Kenna Wollard from Illinois Valley Central.

How to prepare for the dinner of the GPSHOF
CLEAR BAG POLICY: In addition to being transparent, laws stipulate that the bag must be a 1-gallon plastic bag or a bag measuring no more than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ Moreover, one tiny clutch no larger than 5″ x 8″ is permitted.
The banquet’s bar and parking lot are both cashless. We only take credit and debit cards.
Zobrist will be available for autographs following the event, but not during. One item will be signed per person.
BOB MICHEL BRIDGE: While traveling to the Peoria Civic Center, be aware that the Bob Michel Bridge will be closed for eight months commencing on Monday, March 13 at the intersection of River Road in East Peoria and Southwest Adams Street in Peoria.
